Philadelphia Zither Ensemble, 1997 (click to enlarge)
Formed in 1993, the Philadelphia Zither Ensemble today has members from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. The most recent concert of the Philadelphia Zither Ensemble was held at the Bayerischer Volksfest Verein/UGHC in Oakford, Pennsylvania. More than 100 people attended this Weihnachtskonzert, which included a special performance of the Third Man Theme by the duet team of Leonard Zapf, Sr., on Zither and his son Leonard Zapf, Jr., on the contrabass.
